The Acacia Strain - "Coma Witch"

I can say I didn't expect TAS to have seven albums when I first picked up 3750. 10 years later, DL is no longer in the band, they're working with dual eight strings, and the production couldn't be any smoother. It's tough to mention quality as these days artists record the album in separate rooms and track the drums on a computer. The lush layers of landscape, the consistent pummeling of the attempted polyrhythmic rhythm, and Vincent's layered vocals are a total draw and should be interesting live. This is Acacia at their best and catchiest even though the 27 minute opus "Observer" just lingers in disappointment.
