The Ghost Inside - "Dear Youth"

Not that I'm totally impressed with this one, as much as I am stagnant about TGI's development. While "Returners" was the "holy shit they finally figured it out" of their discography, GWYG saw the band explore more melodic themes. This catered to a different market than was targeted when I hopped on a few years prior with FATFO. "Dear Youth" finds the guys exploring similar themes: asking for help, overcoming defeat, youth rites, etc. This is cute, only it's been explored to a bloody pulp. The explosions are still prevalent, the breakdowns still explosive, and the melodies are still exploding. Now let's just hope a fifth album doesn't leave this band to expire.
