Neck Deep are solid and to the point. Reminiscent of what The Story So Far did on their latest album, Wishful Thinking doesn't exactly chart new territory. It's a good listen with smooth hooks. Although not as infectious as ADTR or TSSF, the vocals are still a major highlight for the release. The lyrics aren't as childish and infant as say Handguns, but their still at a point where they'll cause Neck Deep to cater to a limited market. This could be the next generation's New Found Glory, but only time will tell if this is strong enough to last more than a few tour cycles.
