Hit The Lights - "Summer Bones"

This is as bubblegum pop as it's going to get. Start with "The Real" and you'd be lucky if you escaped without a cavity. The production is spot on, bringing depth and thickness to the guitars. The vocals are littered with technology but you can tell there's still some talent behind all the glitter. The songs are really strong. The buildups and choruses are so infectious that you can listen to them over and over again. Hit The Lights have an interesting discography, and maybe back in 2006 we had the attention span to give it the respect it deserves. But for those just getting into them now, this wouldn't be a bad place to start and then work your way backwards.
