Add Hollow Earth to the long, droning list of Counterparts-esque metallic hardcore acts. While Hundredth certainly put the nail on the coffin to gain the top spot with their last collection Free, Hollow Earth tries to stand side by side with the scene's best and make a reasonable name for themselves with this short EP.
The three tacks are great and were certainly choice picks. "Beyond Celestial Limits" even brings to mind Nights Like These' debut, that the band could never live up to again.
Hopefully that's not the case and the group has a long and promising career as a band. The three tracks here showcase a passionate band who is ready for more than a few local shows a month and seem prepared to deliver.
