Abyss "The Darkest Depths"

This EP is so brutal it almost makes me want to pack up everything in the apartment and move back in to my parents house. Album opener "End Of The World" is what's been missing in an album opening breakdown for a while, and distancing the average ear from the repeated chugathon bands, Abyss actually sails smoothly through their grooves making the brief listen a joyous and celebrated one.
With cute blast beasts and chubby production, the clear guitar and bass tones welcome a demon of a frontman who doesn't really stand out one way or the next, but at least doesn't bring down his comrades. For more solid downtempo and deathcore that isn't Chelsea Grin, add this badboy to your collection to keep pouring the shots at the kitchen party all night long.
