As soon as it kicks off its obvious that Fear Grips is some damn good hardcore. The four tracks here rip so viciously it's impossible not to repeat the album a half dozen times before putting it away.
Carrying Expire's DNA there is a little variation between the outfits with Stone being a little heavier, while Expire somehow manages to remain angrier is a magical sort of way. There's much to enjoy here and the riffage that wails towards the end of each track showcases strong songwriting that will only be complemented in time.
