Although a bit too soft at times, Balance And Composure release another album of soothing emo that will undoubtedly resonate with infinite fans from their fan camp. While their debut and the releases thereafter always had some sort of punch or kick to get the piles moving, Light We Made seems like a walk in the park with each track picking up where the former left off, compounding to a concise release that's super accessible from every angle.
It's also worth noting that besides perhaps Title Fight, Balance And Composure run in a lane of their own. Constantly being grouped with La Dispute and other respectable indie acts, Balance And Composure know how to generate the hype. But preaching to the converted is an easy game. The big question of the day is whether or not they'll be able to reach and acquire new fans with the wide net they've cast with their latest release.
