Pennywise "Nineteen Eighty Eight"

It's been a year of "wait, what year is it?" releases and tour packages, and Pennywise is here to drop the icing on the bakery of albums that reignited interest in classic outfits. Aside from the "Stand By Me" cover (which is totally superb), the band rocks out tight and quick with punctual production doing what they do best, and before you know it the album's already repeated itself a half dozen times. It's a true addition to the catalogue, making a band that's been a classic staple of the 90's punk scene gain additional respect alongside peers that have replicated a sound they can't seem to trace to it's origins. Dedicated to the kid who said "Neck Deep is my favorite punk band."
