If you've been reading a ton of reviews here about what doesn't exactly stand out, here's the exact opposite. Queensway are super interesting hardcore. While not the most brutal or ruthless in tuning, pummeling or breakdowns, Queensway is heavy in the way that Turnstile is heavy. Their approach is so thorough and to the point that the only worthy comparison is Fury's Paramount which set the bar for new expectations last year. Queensway doesn't reinvent the hardcore wheel but they certainly know how to shine it. Track after track the album is full of fun and has to be enjoyed by anyone into the genre. The vocals are a true standout and do some miracle fade-aways time and time again that reignite the entertainment factor on the album. This one takes January to a super strong month for 2017.
