Either these dudes got a new bass player they're super excited about, or they're just really proud of the low end licks contrived on the band's latest outing. Conformicide is the debut the band was hoping for, with creative songwriting and a sound that is all their own, that makes thrash pop into the forefront of the metal community. While Havok doesn't reinvent the thrash think tank, they certainly provide a much needed antidote to Power Trip's solo space in the spotlight of bands who have done this before and done it well.
