A pummeling assault rises from a promising EP to yet another substantial landmark in brutal hardcore. GON are one of those Chugcore hopefuls that knew how to exploit the sound, package it effectively, and produce a substantial release. Their latest batch of songs knows how to get the job done without overstaying its welcome and rips through six songs with Emmure like tendencies while not crossing the line into trademark terrain. It's going to take a little more than just groovy breakdowns to overthrow the common man's aggro band, but these guys are certainly in the right lane.
