Remarkably enough, on their eighth full length The Lords Of Punishment wail supreme to make a striking case for the crown. The fact that the moniker has lasted the test of time is beyond everything and their latest collection holds nothing back as it bangs and rails against authority. Promoters of the band will be pleased, and those who've doubted the band's ability to sustain their delivery over time will be dismissed. The act has been at it for far too long to take criticism. It's evident they introduced the scene to its current state and will be held responsible to evolve the standard once again as things progress. While Gravebloom might not be the next revolutionary step for the genre, it's a solid slab of material that continues to set itself apart while many replay the same angles.
