It seems like Season of Mist Records has become the new Relapse, and Nuclear Blast has become the new Roadrunner. The lords of blast beat grind return with a wrath and bang through a half hour's worth of material in an efficient and relentless manner. The riffs are catchy, the production is mint, and the vocal cadence and guttural execution are approachable and make the record highly comparable to recent Despised Icon records or Aborted. While Leng Tch'e (pronounced "shay"), certainly don't have the chops that their Belgian counterparts do, they still deliver on a high note and effectively package a relevant modern death metal release that doesn't hint at Deathcore.
