There's so much promise showcased on this band's debut that it smashes all expectations of rookie acts. Part Poison The Well, part Hopesfall, but all refreshing in 2017, Safe and Sound have a subtle delivery for their emotional hardcore presentation. This is a hopeful band to keep an eye on. On only a few tracks, Safe and Sound have turned more heads than most current hardcore bands. With a vocal approach like La Dispute or Defeater, there's plenty of substance to cling onto, and with a wide palette of a proper LP, a band like this should flourish as long as they can keep their songwriting and their efforts intact.
