The Color Morale “Artist Inspiration Series”

The melodic metalcore group delivers a tight collection of tracks we’ve all come to know and respect. Aside from the Coldplay track, which does get executed rather well, the band revisits a Misery Signal song that reminds those of us who’ve been around long enough to know why we ever bothered with this scene in the first place. If a cover can get you to revisit those past experiences, then it’s clear its job is done. And in this case done extremely well. The Jimmy Eat World contributions are fare, and that Comeback Kid track totally rips, that it almost makes revisiting The Color Morale catalogue almost necessary. This one is worth checking out even if you aren’t a fan of the band.
