THE RECENTLY ADDED

The Used “The Canyon”

It’s great to see bands sustain longevity and continue to do what they love to deliver to their fans. Whether it’s an obsession that makes a band wish to continue their musical journey, or whether they just don’t have any other marketable skills they could use to be lucrative and survive the human experience with any type of monetary success is really anyone’s guess, but to see a band like The Used continue to pump out records almost twenty years is truly something special. Sure, Ross Robinson produced this record, and there’s plenty of talk about the roughness of the production, but regardless of what the output of this band actually is, the truth is that no one expected them to be pumping out records almost twenty years after “The Taste Of Ink.” Even though the band spent time recording a record that’s completely forgettable, that note alone makes the band still somewhat necessary.
