THE RECENTLY ADDED

Dashboard Confessional “Crooked Shadows”

Chris Carrabba and company are at it again, reliving youthful glory days and reaching for alternative pop glory to cement their namesake with a lasting impressionable legacy on the history of the scene. The voice and melancholy, yet whimsical reflective narratives are ever present and the band is confidently poised to pick up right where it left off on Alter The Ending. There’s a few odd moments of synthpop that derail the band from their DNA, but it’s all gravy for an act that’s been at it for over twenty years that shouldn’t be chastised from trying something new.
