Discomfort “Fear”

Italy’s hardcore minions of darkness deliver another packed record of blast beats and wails, alongside intricate riffing that makes for a highlight release that’s worthy of attention. Highly reminiscent of pre-Jane Doe era Converge, Discomfort know how to line up their sound with a hint of prog elements that are best comparable to Burst‘s Prey On Life release. While the album is a charged experience of aggressive hardcore, there’s a variety of genre elements mixed in that make for a compelling listen in the record’s short run time.
