THE RECENTLY ADDED

Dimmu Borgir “Eonian”

On their tenth release, Norway’s symphonic goth metal masters deliver huge efforts to raise the bar with their first release in almost a decade. While the keys remain forefront and are dominant in every track, their punctual pairing with guitar melodies and vocal cadence play well this time, creating a very approachable Dimmu album. Where in the past, the band may have turned the common listener away with their intimidating aesthetics and persistent blast beats, this record aims to tie a classy picture together, which, if given the time to flourish, will make an impression on even the most calloused listener.
