While the purity of Heartbound can never be relived, the Australian act delivers another set of electronically-packed, alternative metalcore tracks that focus on more melodies than breakdowns. It’s a nice evolution for the act, and on their fourth record they don’t stray too far from where they started, instead just focusing on the bits that make them standout on a Warped Tour roster, instead of packing as much detail as possible into a short window. Hopefully the band can continue to stay relevant and support themselves and make some headway as they continue on their journey as a band. Four albums is enough to be somewhere relevant by now, and I’m not entirely sure how big the rooms this band can address at this point in their career, and not be laughed out of their guarantee.
