Somehow in 2018 the band can still produce a record that sounds like it was written in a 1999 basement. The classic crust of old grind reigns supreme here, and Relapse’ legacy act shines in this space. With beyond human vocals, a stellar performance on the skins, and endless riffage intensity, Skinless return with one of the best records in their career to sustain relevance amongst the thousands of mutations that have resulted from their influence.
