Bringing to mind early Defeater and remniscent of Touché Amoré’s passionate, brash, attacking hardcore snarl, Birds In A Row rock pretty convincingly in a loud way that seems to be captured really well on their sophomore record. The funnest thing about the band is their identity concealment concept which finds the members individually referred to as single letters. Even when they replaced a member, they only noted them by a single letter identifying the individual. Oddly enough, the band rocks out an emotional release that should accompany the band’s live show well. Here’s to hoping they can continue to represent this emotional collection of tracks with a sane, strategic approach to the open road.
