Impending Doom “The Sin & Doom, Vol. II”

While deathcore is no longer a scene highlight, Impending Doom return to showcase they haven’t dropped the match and are still destined to carry the torch for the genre’s sake. Only difference this time, is that they do it rather convincingly. The band’s chops are up to snuff with the guitars chugging in precise methodical execution and the drums pummel away with furious anger. The record presents the band’s creativity well, and aside from the aggression consistently packed throughout there’s still a chance for the act to showcase how talented and crafty they are on their respective instruments. While the holy elements of the band are at times comical, the lyrical content is very easy to overlook when half of the material is indecipherable to the common ear.
