The band’s popularity has been surging and this one has been produced to climb the charts. The act’s brand of sugary pop punk is honed in with an impeccable production plan and solid writing. There’s hardly any filler here, but anyone struggling with their sweet anthems may have a hard time getting through the record in its entirety. On the level with I, Prevail and Neck Deep, State Champs are aiming to take a piece of the pie. While it’s a huge improvement for the band and they know how to step up to the occasion perhaps on the verge of headlining territory, parts of this may end up giving you a sweet tooth.
