The resurgence of early 00’s metalcore continues and The Agony Scene reigns supreme. Recent releases by Bleeding Through, Winds Of Plague and Hopesfall saw mixed responses, but the classic brand of metallic hardcore blended with thrash remains consistent through the record’s runtime. There’s not much reinventing the wheel here, with the band picking up where they left off on their self-titled and Get Damned but just seeing the name of the band grace new billing rosters is a refreshing dose of nostalgia that shouldn’t be overlooked by enthusiasts of the scene.
