Like Beartooth, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, and Avenged Sevenfold before them all, The Amity Affliction is set on taking over the world. And they just might. With a shift in direction to a more alternative, cohesive approach, the band plays to their market and shifts from the metalcore landscape to pack an album full of hits and sing alongs, that bring to mind an aggressive Fall Out Boy routine that may just be the missing ticket to catapult the band to success. While being sandwiched with the likes of Of Mice & Men, A Day To Remember, Architects, and Falling In Reverse seem daunting, those are the acts set to get ahead as the next round of headliners start to bow out in the next couple of years.
