The band clearly highlights early 80’s pop and focuses on leveraging electronic elements to rock out subtle beats and churn emotional audio landscapes. At times there’s hits to dance to, but those moments are so few and far between. The majority of the record is a whisper, leaving you constantly checking the runtime to see if the album is still moving along. This could have been edited a little more aggressively to make a more effective EP than this long, droning listen that features a few hopeful moments in all.
