Beartooth “Disease”

While the opening to the record is questionable, the track eventually unfolds like a modern alternative staple. Caleb Shomo has been behind the wheel of this sound for over a decade, and on the band’s third album he rightfully executes his vision incredibly well. Shomo has has own signature style that’s been honed in from the shadows of Attack! Attack! on the band’s first record, to front and center on the band’s final album, Disease culminates his efforts and those who’ve been following along can see the evolution and its unfolding. If he stays put and continues to develop this moniker, it’s very obvious that Beartooth will soon be a festival heavyweight at the higher end of the rosters.
