What started out as another metalcore hopeful has started to turn into a promising aggressive alternative band that could be the necessary crossover needed to catapult the next stage of Linkin Park decoys into a relevant space. While bands like Issues seem to have it under control, Sylar has the necessary appeal to draw a larger audience and could potentially do more than Issues ever could. Seasons may be the record that takes the band to new heights, if the band doesn’t transform into an Attila of sorts, and they work hard after opening for Beartooth this fall to ensure that was not the peak of their possibilities.
