Une Misère “010717”

In anticipation for their Nuclear Blast full length, this brief EP shows hope for a promising up and coming metalcore outfit. It’s odd that they breakdown “South of Heaven” and no one’s really hounded the band for their practical theft of the lick on the second track “Backstabbed.” The remixes on the EP aren’t worth a second glance, but the production and aggression of the band brings to mind the sludge power of Johnny Truant and sense of urgency of early Norma Jean.
