At first glance it felt like this was a standout record for the band. But then I dove into some of the riffage and most of it is literally Munky and Head photocopying their utility bill and publishing it as a New York Times Best Seller. The branding is everything at this point, and I’ll keep my opinions about modern songwriting to myself, because it just isn’t worth the rant. Check it out if you’ve fallen off, it definitely isn’t their most frustrating release
