While the sorcery rings true to the days of early Iced Earth, there’s something missing here that makes this record seem like a whole lot of praise in the European market from Nuclear Blast for nothing. While the album’s epic design doesn’t outshine the piss poor lyrics and elementary song structures, it’s even more baffling that this mess headlined two consecutive nights at this year’s Hellfest.
