THE RECENTLY ADDED

Prison “Still Alive”

There’s a lot to be said about the band’s agenda promoting (and defending?) mental health issues, but I always felt the community to be supportive and inclusive, and the entire listen just feels like one giant, misguided attack on a population that probably won’t ever hear this record. Maybe it’s giving the disenfranchised a voice, so that can be seen as a positive angle. But from an outsider’s perspective the music is standard fare and the theme’s need a lot of work on every front.
