For a melodic hardcore band no one’s hardly ever heard of, these guys sure do indulge themselves with songs well over four minutes a pop. While the songwriting is top shelf and the tracks are packed with pulp, Renounced could have probably saved off for their next two releases if they just learned to write more efficiently. It’s a very strong record and will most likely end in the year’s top listing. Don’t recommend skipping this one if you like to think you know what you’re talking about in this space.
