Before anything, it’s worth mentioning this is the first SFTP record since “Make Your Own History” that I’ve actually been able to get through without scoffing at some ridiculous lyrical banter or a silly mish-mash riff of Wah pedal wankery. While these dudes are arguably one of the hardest working outfits in the business, from an auditory standpoint, the band should really make an effort to re-listen to their debut and focus on those elements that made them such a highlight.
