An absolutely brilliant release from the lords of the underground, Canada’s finest return with a fierce assault. The band has never been an easy pill to swallow and almost twenty years into their career, they’re still as devastating as ever. The songwriting has come along quite a bit since their earlier records, and the evolution has made them more marketable over time, but this elevates the technical precision to new heights. Don’t sleep on this album, and it’s a hell of a launchpad if you’re just picking up here.
