After 2017’s “The Cold Sun” made a lasting impression, the band delivers an eclectic full length follow up that delivers a wide range of vocal efforts (apparently even heralded by Chino Moreno of Deftones) that hint at obvious influences. The music is a little more one dimensional than their previous release, but it’s obvious this band is aligned to commercial appeal, and with time and the appropriate evolution, there’s no doubt Loathe will rise aside hard work and consistency.
