It’s certainly worthy of all the acclaim and the fact that these guys showcased the record independently should give courage to aspiring acts just to do the damn thing. The record whipsaws between alarm clock riffs and off the wall rhythms while trying to challenge legacy metalcore acts like Botch and Coalesce while still standing neck and neck with the modern revival in the form of Sanction and Knocked Loose. It’s only a matter of time before they rise in the ranks. Here’s to hoping they aspire to be more than an LDB or FYA hopeful.
