For every dime a dozen cookie cutter metalcore acts, there are just as many meat and potatoe hardcore units pumping the same Lionheart-esque diesel fuel into the counter culture. Nasty have been slowly rising in the ranks, and with last year’s Hellfest appearance at Warzone, they’ve proven that this brand of metallic riffage can cater to a larger than life crowd. It’s more of the same on their latest installment with an improved production and tighter compression, but if you haven’t heard of the band before, this latest collection may not necessarily have you turning your head twice.
