I’ve been collecting Gorillaz vinyl’s for years but when this started getting drip fed as singles on the digital platforms, it was hard to experience the album in it’s entirety, so it’s probably the first record from the moniker that HAS to be experienced on vinyl to be immersed in the experience. All those interludes were driving my head in, and some of the tracks were bland and uninspired. I still think “Momentary Bliss” is the best track on the album, but I don’t think this release even cuts into this year’s top 30.
