Never mind the fact that I spent an entire day talking about this snare drum, but the rhythm and groove on this album highlights a band that is both fierce in the studio and also wildly captivating. It’s a big leap from their last EP and hints at From A Second Story Window/early Daughters vibe (or Chamber if you’re a newbie), and is a bold release for an indie band. Almost makes you forget about that $80+ hoodie they’re selling.
