Everyone stop what they’re doing immediately and blast this bad boy from a legacy act that hasn’t released anything since their sophomore outing in 2008. If you know nothing of this band, take a hard look in the mirror, and it’s a shame this is where you start, but it’s also not because it’s an incredible thought provoking album that challenges all genres in the aggressive space. The last time I saw the band was at the Social in 2008 as support for The Red Chord and Converge, and it absolutely blew me away, and apparently it blew the band away also because they seemingly hibernated for years after. AOTY contender Number 1.
