It took the band nine years to deliver “The Knife,” but only three and change to dish out its follow up and arguably the best record in the band’s career. John Fledmann’s contributions to Blink-182’s “California” have never been more pronounced and the songwriting, horns, ballads, and Travis Barker’s kick ass drumming are all in their rightful place.
