Fear Factory “Aggression Continuum”

Not going to lie, I expected this to be as flat as a board as mostly everything after “Digimortal” has sort been a bag of hot garbage, but I was pleasantly surprised here. With all the drama surrounding this release, I definitely didn’t expect such an effective Fear Factory record. If you’re just joining us, this is probably the worst place to start as it’s said to be Burton’s final release with the group, and it’s certainly no “Demanufacture” or “Obsolete,” records I thought were revolutionary when released, and it certainly doesn’t rewrite the FF playbook. But if you’re skeptical, I highly recommend a listen. It’s a fine-tuned approach to the band’s instantly recognizable, signature mechanical sound.
