A superb, lush record, full of big chords, layered in massive depth, distancing them far and wide from their prior releases. This reminds me of a Nothing record, or early Citizen, and sheds the band’s black metal related anything. This is about as epic alternative as things can get, and album highlight “Other Language,” definitely makes Deafheaven’s latest installment AOTY material.
