For a guy who ranked RTFOF as 2016’s AOTY, it’s pretty painful to accept the band’s sudden shift in direction on their last two LPs on Roadrunner. Justice’s effort to mirror Anthony Keides fails flat like the production, the elementary lyrics are boring, and the slow drone of the record is frustrating. It’s just not for me, and sounds like music for Baby Einstein.
