Not even Will Yip can make this record exciting. “A Dream About Love?” More like “Songs Meant For Sleep.” I could feel my skin fall off my bones as this EP lingered for almost a half hour. There was a time Circa Survive was turning the corner. Songs like “Imaginary Enemy” and “Get Out” come to mind that were super explosive anthems, that pushed Green and the band to their limits. But that time is not now and the band never seemed to capitalize on that energy again and have been this boring act ever since. This has been going on now for years! Did I mention how boring this is?
