Why do these albums find it necessary to kickoff like a ride from Universal Studios? What is this nonsense at the beginning of “Farewell”? Eventually we get things going into what ultimately sounds like power metal, and not so much deathcore, to be honest. The riffs are bright, crisp, and the metal is superb. This brings to mind As Blood Runs Black honestly, but executed at a very, very high level.
