While never really being a big Ghost enthusiast, or even amused by the band’s Mercyful Fate-esque debauchery on stage, there’s no doubt that Tobias and company deliver the goods when it comes to standard fare rock ‘n’ roll. If you don’t like tracks like “He Is” and some of the other bangers from prior releases, then “Spillways” and “Watcher In The Sky” won’t do anything for you either. For everyone else, you might dig the alternative brand of classic heavy metal the band delivers with grand flare.
